We agree! All books fulfilled through our subscription are yours to keep, so yes, you can!
Books you receive from holds placed on tagged “series” in Libib, such as the Bright and Early Books series, count as 2 for 1 towards the total for your subscription. If you have a Plus Plan, that means you’ll only pay $3 for each of those books!
It’s important to note that if you place a hold on both an individual title and a tagged “series” that contains that same title, the individual title will be fulfilled first at the normal rate.
Yes, it does! We define a title as “an entry in Libib that is a complete literary work” and a book as “a single physical volume.”
If we provide you with a book that contains multiple titles that you have selected, such as a book containing the complete novels of Jane Austen where you have selected the titles Emma and Sense and Sensibility, this counts as just one book for fulfilling your subscription!
On the other hand, if you selected a title like Plutarch’s Lives and we give you two books to provide you with the complete work, this counts as two books for fulfilling your subscription
While we sort through thousands of used books from the community on a regular basis, we never know exactly what we’ll come across! Selecting more titles than the number of books you will receive ensures that we can fulfill your subscription.
We do not currently adjust your hold selections on our backend fulfillment system after you have emailed to inform us that you have placed holds on the titles that interest you. We’re working on adding this functionality soon.
For now, if you happen to receive another copy of a book that you’ve acquired independently over the course of your annual subscription, we encourage you to gift the additional copy to a friend!
We encourage you to add or remove holds on titles any time for your own reference or for a future subscription!
We deliver on the second Tuesday of each month. Group deliveries can be arranged for other recurring monthly days.
Pickup is available in central Calgary on the second Thursdays of March, June, September, and December.
No. We do not automatically renew any annual subscriptions.
